This site is dedicated to the memory of Simon Chappell.
Simon Chappell is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
He was someone who will stay in our hearts forever as a thoughtful, considerate and loving person.
Simon devoted his life to his children and his children hold a special place in their hearts for him. To this end Simon has provided for his children and will no doubt be looking over them until they are together again.

Boundless energy,lover of food and a dram or two, enjoyer of debate (with a twinkle in the eye!) and game for a challenge - in our case his winning approach to Rummycub! Always willing to help, making hard tasks look easy and his tree felling in Bugford will always be remembered. A 'hands on' chap, a lovely warm person and a man of much courage. We shall miss him greatly. x x

You drove me mad Simon. From the time you ripped my Hitchhikers Guide book in half when we were 17 and I had to throw you out of the house, to the big row in France when you made Carol cry. But we were friends - and I always knew that if I needed someone or something or somewhere to run to, you would be there for me, no questions asked. Who will listen to our drunking guitar playing now? I'm glad you are at peace, butI miss you Simey XXX
